Claire A Gaykowski age 80 of Maplewood died on Friday April 1, 2011 at Center For Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday April 5, at 10:00am from the Laskowski Funeral Home ( Union Funeral Home ) 1600 Stuyvesant Ave Union, followed by a mass at 11:00am at Good Shepherd Parish, Irvington and burial at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Born in Bronx NY. Claire has lived in Maplewood for many years, she was a clerk for Seton Hall University for 5 years. Claire is survived by her beloved husband John, her loving children Donna Romeo, James, Joseph, and Stephen Pangiochi, Lu Anne Kozma, Michael, Thomas, and Paul Gaykowski, 12 grandchildren, her brother George, her sisters Francine and Kathleen and Maryann. Claire is predeceased by her first husband James Pangiochi, and her brothers Herbert, and Joseph, and her sister Peggy.
